While in the Cherry lake (25 miles north of hw-120) area in the mobile I made a good contact with this repeater. Cherry lake is about 145 GPS miles away. I use this repeater when in the So. Bay. There is annoying interference at times otherwise a good rpt.

Able to use this repeater with my HT from Emigrant Wilderness @ 8,000'.. Reported full quieting into the machine with an Elk antenna at 5watts and good in the 1watt mode. Glad to be able to reach home area because cel service is nil up there..
